Summer Workout Plan

I like to think of fitness as more of a lifestyle rather than a chore.  It’s the part of my day where I can listen to fun music and unwind.  Small things like walking to the office or dinner, taking the stairs and living on the go make such a difference.

New workout clothes always get me more excited to get moving.  I’m obsessed with this nike tank because it covers my chest where I don’t want to get a sunburn.  (I still wear this sunscreen everyday.)  The top kind of looks like something a real marathoner would wear! 🙂

I am also a loyal nike girl when it comes to running shoes.  The Nike Pre-Montreal are my new favorite.

Now that the weather is nice, I’ve been doing more workouts outside and enjoying the fresh air.  Lately when I don’t have much time my favorite morning routine is this:

1. Hold plank for 1 minute.

2. 50 Cross body crunches.

3. Side plank for 1 minute each side.

4. Plank with alternating leg lifts for 1 minute.

5. Any type of enjoyable cardio for 30 minutes. My favorite is boxing.

6. Stretch.

I’ve found that this in combination with a healthy diet has really helped with my energy and strength.
