Happy Friday y’all! It’s been a crazy week over here.
Last weekend I was in NYC for a project backstage with Mary Kay, we traded our dinner reservations for takeout on Valentines and tomorrow we are driving to Austin for the half marathon we’ve been training for.
- I’m honestly so nervous/excited for Sunday. This is my first half marathon, the weather conditions are not ideal for a runner (rain and 95% humidity) and I haven’t been able to fit in every run on our training program due to my travel schedule this month. I’m not too worried about my time, just praying to finish with a positive attitude!
2. I got Sushi last night with a few close girlfriends and they were all so uplifting and motivating. Girls nights are always so much fun! I think it’s important to schedule that time with friends where you can just be girly and share the good and bad things with each other.
3. Thank you to all of your sweet comments and helpful tips over this training process. I will have an update next week with how everything went and I really hope that I’ve inspired you to pick up running or another healthy activity you love along the way!
