This Spring, I am really looking to keeping my closet organized (a note on that here) and focus on the quality essentials.  Marks & Spencer has a great new collection of transitional basics for casual everyday style.

My go-to outfit lately is a simple tee paired with skinny jeans and some sort of light trench. (More examples here and here.)  This look is effortless, but still looks put together and polished.

I ordered another quality pair of black jeans, a casual tote and a basic relaxed tee.

Since we have been having so much rain in Dallas this month, (April Showers) I also invested in this waterproof Anorak Jacket from the ‘Everywear Campaign.’  It is a quality transitional piece that can easily fold into my tote for every day wear.  This jacket has a concealed hood and the neutral color also looks great with white.

I am really loving the classic mule trend this season because they are extremely comfortable.  The block heel on this pair make them practical for all day wear.

The Marks & Spencer Super Skinny Jeans come in short, medium and long lengths which is great for me!  I normally end of cutting the bottom of my jeans, so I love that this pair came cropped at the ankle. (I am 5’6 and normally wear size 26 jeans and in this pair I am wearing a size 8 short for more of a capri pant look.)

This straw tote bag was a great find that will also be perfect for Travel. I am really looking forward to using it for a few beach trips we have coming up this Summer!
