Two of my favorite pieces right now are this simple sweater and inexpensive scarf.

I’m obsessed with the size of this scarf (btw it’s only $25) because it can also be worn as a big shawl (like so) or it can be wrapped up how I’m wearing it here. For this look I just twisted it around a few times and let the ends go loose.

This sweater is such a good closet basic.  I wore it off the shoulder in this post.  I also got the light pink one and wore it with white jeans for Date night with Luke.  It comes in a few pretty colors and is so soft and easy to throw on. I’m thinking the red would be pretty for Holiday.

Also, a few of you asked if these lace up heels are comfortable and the answer is… Yes!  I wore them all day Friday to the Arboretum, no problem.  I find Sam Edelman pointed heels to be pretty comfortable.
