Ready to hear about my latest beauty obsession!?  I’ll admit when it comes to skincare, I can be lazy.  I follow a pretty simple skin routine  and since I really don’t like using a lot of different products and creams (My mom always taught me just soap and water) I try to drink a lot of water.  My skin still gets dehydrated this time of year between flights and climate changes. When Bare Minerals reached out to me about reviewing their newest product at first I was nervous.  While I love getting new products to try, I had never used Bare Minerals anything before and wasn’t sure how it would turn out.  I’ll be completely honest, I was hugely surprised by the outcome!  The new Bare Minerals Complexion Rescue is a tinted hydrating cream that gives the perfect amount of flawless coverage.  I had gone from using a tinted moisturizer (too shiny) to a CC cream and back to a BB cream before.  This cream combined what I liked about all three!  A double bonus, I don’t have to wear sunscreen or moisturizer with this.  (Both are included!)

I also want it to feel like I’m not wearing anything and with this I completely forget I have anything on while giving a natural air brushed finish.  Speaking of air brushed, it arrived with this fun to use super soft smoothing brush and as soon as I put it on, my skin was glowing.  (I highly recommend getting this brush for blending. I find I actually enjoy putting it on!) The coverage is buildable and gives a very natural looking radiance.  Actually, with in the first week of using it I got two comments from friends saying my skin looked amazing.  At a super bowl party, one even asked if I had just gotten an oxygen facial!  The ultimate compliment.  It’s a miracle worker I tell you!

This stuff is great because I can use it as my moisturizer and SPF.  All about simplicity.  Better yet, I know it is actually doing good things for my dry skin. The hypoallergenic, non-comedogenic formula has no silicone, fragrance, oil or paragons.  It’s au naturel!

Another bonus I have to mention is their eyeshadow palette! I love using a mix of shadow colors and since I travel so often, it is great when they are all in one compact.  This set also comes with a helpful guide for where each color goes and I’ve been using it for day with a little bit of highlight and building the darker colors in the outer corner for an evening smokey eye!  I am so happy I tried these new products, I’ve become a total bare minerals junkie!
