TOPSHOP CAPE .. MANOLO BLAHNIK HEELS .. FRAME JEANS .. TOPSHOP BLOUSE .. RAY BAN SUNGLASSES
The weather in Dallas has been crazy for real. 30s one day 70s the next. (Not complaining about the 70s!)
With these types of unpredictable changes, I’ve been resorting to layers and this Topshop cape ($60) has come to my rescue. I have been wearing it with jeans and a blouse and wrapping it around coats. It’s like a portable blanket.
I also am really excited about a new pair of shoes I purchased. As I’m now 25 and feeling like less is more and fewer is better (not making room for anything trendy) I decided to splurge on my first pair of Manolo Blahniks. Believe it or not, I didn’t have a classic black pump in my closet. It was a void I had been trying to fill for awhile, but wanted to wait until I found the perfect pair that was equally beautiful as comfortable. I probably tried on fifty pairs over the last year, but wanted to wait until I found the perfect one!
If you are like me and looking to fill the same void, but want to spend less, I also love this pair by Sam Edelman. You often see me wearing them in grey and they too are very comfortable for a pointed toe!

Love the whole look and couldn’t agree with you more…. less is more as you really settle into your “own style”. It’s almost more fun planning/searching for the “perfect” pair of shoes, purse, etc… over the course of a few months as opposed to an impulse purchase that you get a few wears out of and toss aside. The Manolos are classic and timeless! I’m sure you’ll enjoy many many years out of them!
This is the year for it! I splurged on my first pair too 🙂 love your pick!
ugh but the cape too!
