I got this button down over the summer and have worn it at least once a week ever since.  I love how it ties at the front and goes longer in the back.

Wear it with wedges for date night (example here,) with skinny jeans and pretty flats for running errands, over a swimsuit with shorts, or to the office with slacks and heels.  Similar to the little black dress, the white button down is that classic staple that can work for almost any occasion.
