I’m definitely not an expert on interiors, but have been getting quite a few requests to show ya’ll my apartment! When it comes to interior design, I’ve always liked simple neutral colors and timeless pieces that still feel comfortable. It is a pretty small rented space – the perfect size for right now! The decor is clean, minimal and everything has it’s place.
In my opinion the best part about this apartment is the big windows in the living room! I love it that the kitchen is open to the dinner table and living room – this is something that will be so important to me when looking for a home one day! Always want people to be able to gather around the kitchen island and it still be open to the living area and dinner table!
Since I don’t have a ton of room in my closet, I like to keep it pretty edited at all times. Everything is organized by style then color. For scarves, jeans and pants I use these no slip hangers and for everything else I use these velvet hangers.
To keep the big bags shape and standing upright, I use empty shoe boxes to fill them. Belts and larger tote bags are hung on a mounted hook rack by the door.
A few neutrals. ????
My closet doesn’t have any drawer space, so I use these baskets to store under garments, socks and pajamas and then use a white acrylic dresser in my bedroom for workout clothes and everything else.
Love having this writing desk next to the kitchen! The diamond painting is by Kurt Pio.
If you don’t already have this leopard throw blanket, you will love it! I got this couch years ago at Restoration Hardware, the coffee table is from a consignment store and the white desk can be found here.
Coffee table books are such a good gift idea – my favorite is this large Tom Ford book.
Love this little rug from Nordstrom – Also got this ‘Happy Halloween’ sign there a few years ago!
Got these little drawer snack organizers as a set on Amazon.
Got this pretty rug on sale from Wayfair for under $60! This is the Rectangle 2’7″ x 5′ – perfect for my little kitchen!
Love the simple packaging of Diptyque candles. My favorite interior design spots are Restoration Hardware and Wayfair. Amazon, eBay, Bloomingdales, Nordstrom and Neiman Marcus also have great home selections.
This big leopard throw blanket is so soft and cozy. Do ya’ll use Pinterest for Interior Design inspiration!? I love collecting boards for different rooms – the kitchen, living room, entry, bathroom and master bedroom!
