Ya’ll often ask for outfit ideas for him as well as good pieces to invest in for yourself. We recently ordered a few new things that I wanted to share along with several of the staples in our wardrobe! I got Luke another pair of his favorite Common Projects sneakers, a half zip sweater for fall and a new timeless investment bag for myself on Nordstrom!

I decided to invest in this dark brown leather bag because it is such a classic style that has been around for years. The medium size works day to night and it is so durable. I love that it has a zip closure, an interior side pocket and doesn’t have a big logo on it.
This timeless bag is understated, chic and very high quality. I can fit my wallet, phone, sunglasses, lotion, lip balm, a snack bar and more.
This pretty wool and cashmere over coat is so easy to throw on over jeans for a put together look. It drapes open in the front and sort of billows out in the back for a classic yet effortless look.
The oversized coat also comes in a neutral buffalo plaid, yellow, pink or grey.
I love pairing the over coat with other neutral colors – especially this soft ivory crewneck sweater and these comfortable brown pointed toe booties.
Also, these are the skinny jeans I got this summer and wear almost daily. If you are looking for a new quality pair, I highly recommend these jeans!! The stretch makes them so incredibly comfortable and the pockets and color are very flattering.
Luke wore his white Common Projects achilles sneakers so much that I decided to get him another pair in the grey color! He said they take a few wears to break in, but once you do they are very comfortable!! Here is a post in the white pair.
Luke loves these comfortable black Theory pants for both work and weekend. He got this pair 6+ months ago, wears them often and they still look brand new! A few of his favorite casual brands at Nordstrom are Theory, Peter Millar, Rag & Bone and Common Projects.
Here are my brown boots in natural light with no filter. They run true to size and are so comfortable. I’m wearing the color whisky brown and also have the black suede. If you are looking for a good every day bootie, I highly recommend this under $150 pair.
