I love the relaxed yet festive look of a red plaid shirt around the holidays.

This plaid button down is a new favorite.  It is a lightweight flannel, has the perfect laid back fit and will be great for layering under my cozy grey cardigan or black leather jacket when the weather cools down.

Since plaid can be a little bit masculine, I always try to balance mine with something a little more feminine.  These pretty rockstud flats added just the right amount of ladylike detail to the look.
