Since my closet is full of neutrals, I love to play with texture and cool details.

  Black is my favorite color to wear, so this lace trim blouse is a perfect layering piece.

I also love the fur trim on this coat.  I found it on sale years ago, but also found this one that has a similar feel.  Fur trim coats and vests are perfect for Dallas since it does’t get too cold.  Aside from the two days a year it sprinkles snow, a full on fur coat would be a bit much.  The detailing on this coat is perfect for the Texas weather this time of year!

Since this will be my last post for 2016, I want to wish you a very happy New Year!  I have a really good feeling about 2017! 🙂
