This weekend was so rainy in Dallas, but it was a fun excuse to pull out this coat. I love how it’s lightweight for Spring and the neutral color means it works with black, white or blue jeans.
Over the weekend we had dinner with friends, wen’t to an engagement party and ran a bunch of errands. We also got in our run, went to church and celebrated my moms 65th birthday on Sunday! (I got her these cute flats!)
This pretty coat is versatile and so easy to wear. The tie belt also makes this trench figure flattering and since it is so lightweight, it is perfect for travel.

Girl i totally agree, lightweight coats can be more useful to me than blazers and are easier to style with outfits ( tops and bottoms) because the proportion, color and fabric issues are more forgiving than jackets. http://www.urbanplussizeclothing.org
