A question I’ve been getting a lot lately is, “What can I wear to work on a budget.”

It’s a great question. You definitely don’t want to spend your paycheck on clothes you are just going to wear to the office, yet you want to feel good and look professional.

First and foremost, I recommend finding a great pair of tailored black work pants.

I love this pair (wearing size small) because they are high waisted, they come cropped so you don’t have to get them altered and they look expensive, but feel like leggings. = Super comfortable, easy to wear and chic.

Once you have a pair of pants you like, you can pair them with different blouses and wear them almost every day.  Right now I’m really into this top.  It comes in a few colors, goes longer in the back (so your behind can be covered 😉 ) and it is a great price point.

Also, this black bag is a great size for the office.

To take this work look from desk to dinner, just thrown on a fun pair of earrings and swap a sweater for a leather jacket and you are ready for date night.
