We spent the past few days in Paris and are now on our way to Florence! A few of you messaged me saying you have Europe trips coming up, so I thought it would be fun to quickly share a couple of things we really enjoyed doing on the trip.
The Dior Exhibit at The Musée des Arts Décoratifs
This Dior exhibit celebrating 70 years is a must see. So well done. I would recommend getting tickets before to save time waiting in line. We also had a wonderful dinner at LouLou – located inside the Museum – the night before.
Visit Buly 1803
My friend Mary took me to this original luxury beauty store on Rue Bonaparte when we were in Paris two years ago. They will specially hand calligraph your name on the classic bottle which makes for a beautiful gift or souvenir. My favorites are this body oil and this face cream. If you can’t make it to the store, you can order a curated selection online from Net-a-Porter.
Lunch at an outdoor cafe
We always have to go to Pizza Pinot on the Champs-Élysées, lol. It is a long time family favorite!
Walk through the Jardin des Tuileries
Walking in the Tuilerie garden is such a treat – especially with the Fall leaves turning. We ended up walking at least 7 miles everyday so a trench coat and comfortable walking shoes were a must! BTW, this carry on is my favorite. It is an investment piece for sure, but it fits so much, rolls in all directions and has lasted for years. I highly recommend it this one if you hate checking a bag like me! 😉
A selfie in front of the Eiffel Tower
The first thing we did after dropping our bags at the apartment (and showering, lol) was head to the Eiffel Tower to take pictures! It is such a magical landmark and a special way to remember the trip!
