This is our last night in Ravello and wanted to share a few highlights from the trip! We are staying at the Villa Cimbrone. It is about a 15 minute walk up from the Main Center where you get dropped off (you can’t get to the hotel by car) and has amazing views, beautiful gardens and the Amalfi Coast charm. This is where my friend Rachel had the wedding!
We flew direct from Dallas to Rome and took a car from Rome to Ravello – about a 3.5 hour drive.
On the plane I read When Life Gives You Lululemons and of course brought a Perfect Bar for a snack! Also, got a lot of questions about my new sneakers – I’ll post better pics of them in an outfit post next week! They have been great for walking around Italy!
Loved the pretty view and balcony at Villa Cimbrone hotel – even if you are not staying there, you can get a ticket to walk the gardens!
3 Ravello hotels to recommend
Villa Cimbrone, Palazzo Avino Hotel and the Belmond Hotel Caruso
Coffee stop at La Bottega di Villa Maria – They also do Pottery classes!
Got Italian sandals custom made and measured to my feet for 60 Euro at Bottega Eva Caruso. A lot of places on the Amalfi Coast will do this and it is a fun memory of the trip!
The Palazzo Avino Hotel balcony.
We did an Olive Oil tasting and got some travel size bottles to take home at Gutsi e Delizie. Rachel is an incredible chef and recommended the Mamma Agata cooking class.
The welcome party was at the Palazzo Avino hotel and the Rehearsal dinner was at the Belmond Hotel Caruso which had a really pretty infinity pool.
We went to Caffe Calce several times for dessert – the best gelato and dark chocolate selection!
We heard Mimi was the best in Ravello and wen’t there once for lunch and once for dinner! I’m gluten free but they had a lot of salads and other options!
The Palazzo Avino Clubhouse by the Sea.
We took over a thousand stairs to go to the Palazzo Avino Beach Club! It was a great workout especially going back up!
Pool day wearing my favorite Innika Choo cover up dress!
