Dallas date night ideas:
Dinner and a movie in Highland Park Village
We love walking to dinner in the charming Highland Park Village. A few of our favorites in Highland Park Village are Mi Cocina, Perfect Union Co. and Park House. After we either see a movie or walk over to Royal Blue for dessert. ????
The Dallas Arboretum
The Dallas Arboretum is such a pretty place with fun seasonal events to change things up! We have been to the Summer concerts, run the Tour des Fleurs Half Marathon there and always go to the pumpkin patch in the Fall!
Dallas Games
One of our favorite date nights out is going to a Dallas Stars game! If you need a Birthday, Holiday or Anniversary gift idea for your man – tickets to a Mavs, Stars, Cowboys or college game are a fun experience I’m sure they will love.
The Fort Worth Rodeo
The Fort Worth Rodeo is a true authentic Texas night out! It takes place between Jan 17th – Feb 8th 2020 so if you are in DFW it is fun to wear your hat & cowboy boots, have dinner and see the show.
The State Fair of Texas
The State Fair is always a must! We always like to go toward the end when it is cooler out and had so much fun doing a double date at the fair last year!
Dinner at Shinsei
This cozy spot is always my first suggestion when it comes to girls night, family dinners or date night. I love that they offer brown rice in their sushi rolls and the atmosphere is really fun!
Cooking at home
We have been loving cooking at home! Tonight is our three month Wedding anniversary and to celebrate we are making dinner on the grill at home. After dinner we always make chamomile lavender tea and watch TV! Right now our favorite shows are Yellowstone and Hard Knocks and every night before bed we watch the 10PM channel 5 news.
Take out
When we don’t feel like cooking at home we pretty much always pick up dinner from either Flower Child, Asian Mint, Pei Wei or Eatzi’s.
These are a few of our favorite pieces from Nordstrom right now – Luke has been living in these white sneakers and these dark jeans lately. He also wore the sneakers and this lightweight organic cotton polo in this casual style blog post.
I’m loving this comfortable long sleeve black dress that is under $100 from Nordstrom. This effortless dress looks put together paired with a brown belt and I plan to wear it through Fall with a leather jacket and boots. I also put on this shimmer lotion for a subtle glow.
