Luke and I met on Bumble a year and a half ago.  We talked over social media for about month before actually getting together.

For our first date, we went to a pretty nice restaurant close to my apartment, but after appetizers we both decided something more casual sounded better.  We drove around town in his open jeep, blared rap and country music, got Topo Chico sparkling waters and picked up takeout.  Then we finally had dinner on the rooftop and talked forever.  On our way out, Luke played Coldplay and Journey songs on the piano in the lobby.  It was pretty funny…

We weren’t doing anything that cool, but the time flew by because we were laughing and just being ourselves!

I wore a nice black tee, leather jacket,  jeans and high wedges.  The look was effortless and it still remains one of my favorite casual date night outfits.

My favorite thing about Luke is that he always makes even the simple things so much fun.  Most of the best times we’ve had getting to know eachother are the low key nights where we cook and stay up late talking or are driving in the car on a long road trip.

While training for the Austin half Marathon, we also kind of made a little tradition out of running the trail then going to Chipotle on Saturdays, lol.  This may sound so boring, but we both love it!
