My new favorite hotel? The Knightsbridge. No question. Everything is so charming, from the adorable floral print headboard to the fresh flowers placed on the breakfast room service tray, this perfect boutique hotel is everything I could hope for for my extended stay in London. The most important thing I look for when booking a hotel is location. This couldn’t be more perfect. Did I mention it’s next door to Harrods, the glamorous Sloane Street shopping, and a new favorite boutique called Feathers. It’s also across from Hyde park with the beautiful turning Autumn leaves. While it’s in the heart of London, it is still tucked away in Beaufort gardens making it feel like an escape to a personal flat rather than a busy hotel.
Upon arrival, I was greeted by the quaint living room and library both equipped with a cozy fire place, perfect for morning coffee or an evening nightcap with friends. Since breakfast is my favorite meal of the day and these days have been long and full of meetings, I’ve opted daily for my favorite poached eggs, poraige, and berries in my room (in bed next to my laptop). After escaping for a quick Paris trip, I couldn’t wait to get home to The Knightsbridge on a cold rainy evening and cuddle up in my room. The quaint boutique hotel made me feel right at home and I can’t wait to stay again my next time in London.
While here, I always love to eat at my favorite spot, Hakkasan! I was introduced to Fortnum & Mason this trip- perfect for classic British tea service. And any tea lovers heaven… it’s a department store full of candies, tea sets, and perfumes! They sell the classic beautiful tea set, but I also found a few little stocking stuffers! All of the Christmas decorations are up which left me very excited for the holidays this year!
I love pairing dresses with boots in the Fall. There is something about pairing the two that gives it a cool fresh feel. My Stuart Weitzman over the knee boots are on repeat and this comfortable geo print dress is a new favorite in my wardrobe (You’ll be shocked when you see it’s under $100)! The Club Monaco jacket is from last year, but they always come out with great neutral basics.
