CASUAL SUMMER DATE NIGHT

Because not every night involves a fancy restaurant,

and there are evenings where we just want a casual dinner…

We bring you our go-to Summer date night look:

1.A white blouse: You can never go wrong with a quality white blouse.  So easy and effortless.  I wear mine all the time and really love this classic Banana Republic one because it ties at the front.  I will also be packing it to pair with white jean shorts and a bikini  for 4th of July! Cute, right!?

2.Wedges: We are often walking to dinner, so I need something comfortable. Since Luke is so tall, I like to wear a platform to give me height!  These gold wedges are perfect for evening and are way easier to walk in then heels.

3.A Lightweight cardigan: I always like to have a sweater or scarf with me in case we go to the movies or the restaurant is cold.  This neutral one is polished and classic.

For Luke:

1. A Linen Vee: Light shirts are necessary in the Texas heat.  Luke wears this one all the time lately because it is linen. It looks nicer than a plain cotton tee yet is lightweight for Summer.  This one is a bit sheer so if he is not wearing it as an undershirt, he layers it over another V-neck.

(He just got home from a friends bachelor party in Vegas and said it was perfect for the 100+ temps.)

2.Tailored Khaki Pants: These pants can go from work to weekend, dressy or casual.  Luke also wears them to the office with a button down.

3.A Summer Sweater:  I love when guys wear sweaters. (So charming!) This one is such a beautiful blue and will for sure make it in the suitcase for our trip to Canada.
