This year has flown by…  Luke and I are heading to San Francisco and driving to Napa this weekend to celebrate our anniversary!  I’ve never been to either so I am especially looking forward to cooler weather and trying new things on this trip. If you have any favorite restaurant recommendations, vineyards or fun things to do please send our way.

 Whenever I post an airport pic on instagram a few of you mention that you would like to know what I pack in my carry on, so here is a general list of things I usually bring for a weekend trip.

1. Tumi travel case: I love this bag by Tumi because it has different compartments.  I use section for makeup, one for jewelry and one for my toothbrush and makeup remover wipes.

2. Eberjey pajamas: These are legit the softest pair of PJ’s and I always bring a set when traveling.

3. Bras and underwear: This bra is my favorite right now and these thongs are the perfect fit.  I also bring a stick on bra to wear with off the shoulder tops.

4. Large tote bag: In addition to my roll on bag, I always bring a large tote to put my beauty bag, purse, scarf, magazines, snacks and headphones in.

5. A cozy cardigan: for layering.

6. Flat Over the knee boots: I usually wear my largest pair of shoes on the plane.  These boots are comfortable but chic and I always throw in this pair of running shoes so that I will be able to work out or at least walk on vacation.  These Nikes fold up nicely so they don’t take up a lot of space.

7. Jeans: One pair for every day.

8. Fun Socks: I love wearing fun high socks over  with my over the knee boots.  (Whenever I wear ankle socks they end up falling off.)  This swan pair is really cute and I also love this fun pumpkin pair for halloween.  Since noone can see them, I end up wearing my holiday socks year round.

9. Travel Pouch: I always bring a small pouch to keep things organized in my bigger bag.  It can also double as a clutch in the eventing.

10. A light sweater: I love how this one is a bit longer in the back.

11. Bose Head Phones: I love this pair of noise canceling head phones for the airplane ride.

12. An off the shoulder blouse: I love this one because it packs nicely and doesn’t wrinkle easily if you roll it.

13. A light scarf: I always get cold on the plane so I bring this travel blanket/wrap and a light scarf.

14. Kind Bars: I always bring these on the plane for a snack.
