Whenever I post pictures in my little apartment ya’ll always request posts on interior design! I’m for sure not an expert when it comes to home decor, but I do have a strong opinion and know what I like!
(Neutrals, rustic, big windows, comfy, clean and minimal if that all makes sense lol!)
I also take my Pinterest pretty seriously and have more specific inspiration boards on house, kitchen, dining, bedroom, master bathroom and closet ideas!) Here are a few quality home pieces that I love…
mirror // candle // rustic hanging lamp // Kate Moss book // target tray // Nordstrom rug // throw blanket // antler chandelier // white desk // white chair // Wayfair basket
1. A big mirror is a must have. Not only does it make the room look bigger, but it is a neutral way to add something to the walls. Also, if you need a little magnifying makeup mirror for your bathroom, this one is amazing.
2. My mom got me hooked on Lafco candles! They make the entire room smell so good and have the prettiest packaging! I love to give them as gifts and stock up on this scent for my bedroom and this scent for the kitchen. The pumpkin scent is great for Fall.
3. Love the look of this rustic hanging lamp.
4. Coffee table books are always warm up the living room. Big books also make a thoughtful gift idea. I got this big Tom Ford book for Christmas years ago! I also love this Kate Moss book and this JFK book.
5. Good trays are always nice to have for serving, decoration or to use as a table center piece.
6. Light rugs always make the room feel more cozy and bright! This one comes in a bunch of sizes from Nordstrom.
7. This big throw blanket is my absolute favorite – so soft and comfy ya’ll!! I loved it so much on my bed that I ordered another one to keep on my couch! This brand also makes the best robe!
8. Want a real antler chandelier in my dining room one day!
9. I got a simple white table/desk at a resale store and use it way more than I thought I would. (You can kind of see it in this post and this post.) I’m not sure the brand since I got it used, but found a similar style here!
10. This white chair is a comfy home piece for the living room or master bedroom – the slip cover is machine washable.
11. Since I don’t have any built in drawer space, I use small baskets to organize my undergarments, pajamas, socks, bathing suits and workout clothes. I got these at The Container Store years ago and recently found these on Wayfair.
