With a lot of new things going on around here, wanted to share a few answers to the questions I’ve been getting lately that have to do with us, our life and wedding planning!

Where are you and Luke getting married?
My parents backyard of the home I grew up in.
Why did you decide to have a shorter engagement?
We are just ready! Honestly, we chose May 25th over Memorial Day Weekend (5 months after our engagement) because it would be too hot in Dallas over the Summer and we didn’t want to wait until the Fall. All of our friends, family and vendors were available that day too!
Where are you going on your honey moon?
Bora Bora – Can’t wait!
What is your current fitness routine?
Right now I am running a little bit less (2-3 days a week) and focusing more on lifting weights with a trainer 2 times per week to build muscle. I also go to group Pilates classes 1 to 2 times per week.
Do you have any Wedding showers coming up?
Yes! We are so grateful to have one this weekend, two in April and one in May! I plan on wearing this dress from Nordstrom to my girls shower.
What are you most excited about being married?
I think we are both most excited to officially live together.
What has been the best part of wedding planning?
My favorite part has been coming up with design ideas with our planner! There is so much more than I realized that goes into planning a Wedding though – at times it can be a little bit stressful. I’m trying to just relax and enjoy it step by step!

What does Luke do for work?
Luke is in Industrial Real Estate. He works very hard and I am so proud of what he has accomplished already. We are both really supportive of each others work which is helpful.

Luke found a new pair of pants and button down at Nordstrom last week! He loves that these pants are comfortable and feel more like a golf pant, yet are nice enough to wear to the office.
I love finding fun socks for him – this cool saftey pin pair are perfect for the office! The timeless Ferragamo loafers feel very high quality and look so sharp for work.
