CASUAL WORK OUTFIT

SWEATER // JEANS // BOOTS // SUNGLASSES // SIMILAR BAG

Since my job often requires me to run around, I tend to have days where I just want to dress comfortable and casual. When I know I will be on my feet for long hours, I wear my rag and bone booties or chloe flats with black jeans.  They are the most comfortable pairs of shoes I own and the booties have just the right amount of height to make me feel put together.

I have been getting so much use out of this fringe sweater from Nordstrom this season.  I love that it can be dressed up with white jeans  for the office (worn here) or dressed down with distressed denim for a more casual look.  If you have a more traditional office job, the sweater would look so polished and chic with a pair of classic pair of black slacks and pointed pumps.  I think it will get a lot of use in the Summer for work travel when I want something lightweight.

Another necessity for long work days I can’t go without is a large tote bag.  I got mine in Paris last year and literally throw everything (smaller purse, water, snacks, papers, laptop) in the bag and go.  If you don’t already have one you love, this line has some really great options for girls on the go.  My favorite is the classic black version because it is so durable and works with everything.
