One of my favorite things to do with my Boyfriend is schedule a special date night.  We celebrate every month’s anniversary. On the 9th of every month, we try to get dressed up and go to one of our favorite restaurants.

Since we both have a busy work and travel schedule, nights like this are really important to us.  Both Luke and I are very independent which I think helps make our time we do spend together so much more special. One thing that can often get lost in a relationship is that spark you have when you first start dating. On our date nights, we try to reminisce on the first time we met, trips we have taken together and our favorite things about each other in order to keep that first date feeling.

On our most recent night out, Luke came straight from the office wearing a beautiful Nordstrom Men’s blazer in my favorite shade of blue with khaki pants and his favorite magnetic collar stays. (These collar stays are also a great fathers day gift idea!)  I wore a new white lace up dress I ordered for Summer and we headed to our favorite Sushi spot.
