I always have fun with these Q and A posts and since you guys liked the last one so much, I decided to start doing one every month! Going forward I will answer 10 of your questions each month from Instagram stories! 🙂
Sweater // jeans // Stud earrings
Where are some of you favorite places to shop for less expensive Fall pieces? Nordstrom has a ton of good affordable brands that I love for basics (Gibson & Caslon) and Zella for workout clothes. Amazon has an amazing assortment of essentials like this classic $35 turtleneck, this soft long sleeve tee for $11 and this essential $20 button down I wore last week. Walmart has a new collection out with Scoop that is really inexpensive and stylish. I ordered this black turtleneck and this slouchy gray v neck sweater from the launch.
Who do you look to for Style inspiration? I like the classics like Jane Birkin and Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy. For more modern style I love Rosie Huntington Whiteley, Kate Davidson Hudosn, Barbara Martello, Anouk Yve and Lauren Santo Domingo.
I loved your white bridesmaids dresses! Can you share the details? Thank you! I knew I wanted everyone to wear white and loved the idea of each girl being in a different dress. I also wanted everyone to feel confident in what they were wearing and have their personal style show through. I sent several styles (including this, this, this + this) and let them choose from there. My sisters dresses were by Monique Lhuillier.
Can you share recommendations for Fall wedding guest dresses? Yes! I rounded up a bunch of wedding guest dresses here!
What are your favorite Fall candles? We love this one year round and this pumpkin chai candle for Fall.
Have you ever had botox on your face? Nope! For now I like the look of natural lines and really don’t like injections so I’m definitely not doing it anytime soon. 🙂 I did try it on my underarms in high school (for sweating lol) but didn’t notice a difference and regret it.
Is there meaning behind your Cartier love bracelets and ring? Yes – My sweet dad gave my sisters and I each a Love bracelet for our 18th birthday to take off on our wedding day! I loved wearing mine so much that I started collecting them for different special occasions! He gave me the smaller size Love bracelet the day I finished the Dallas Marathon as well! I think they are a really great piece to remember special milestones in life and I love how you can put it on permanently with the special key. Luke gave me the Love ring for our 1 year dating anniversary and over the years he added different diamond bands to stack with it for birthdays and anniversaries. I never take them off!
Do you want kids? Yes
Do you have tips for training for a Marathon? Yes! I have written so many detailed posts on running you can find under the fitness tab and then you can find my schedule here and Marathon tips and recap post here.
Do you have any designer bags on your wish list? Eyeing this Bottega bag and this classic Chanel bag.
