Third Trimester Q&A

The third trimester has definitely been my favorite! We feel ready and are really looking forward to meeting our baby girl in the next two weeks! πŸ™‚

Krystal Schlegel Davis - third trimester pregnancy q&a

Third trimester Pregnancy Q+A:

Favorite Maternity clothes: I have loved the supportive lululemon yoga tankhotty hot shorts and Align leggings for pregnancy workout clothes. (I sized up!) I also love oversized dresses, comfortable aviator nation sweats, these white jeans, these dark jeans and the Eberjey Gisele pajamas.

Workouts: My current workout routine consists of at home yoga, Peloton classes and long walks outside. I try to get at least 30 minutes of movement per day.

Weight gain: 25 lbs

Pregnancy Pillow: The Doctor Mary pillow by the Pillow Bar is an investment that lasts really well. Before pregnancy I used it to hold my laptop and now I can’t sleep without it between my knees for extra support!

Hospital bag: Here is a list of everything I packed!

Maternity Books: I have learned a lot from the classic What to Expect Book and iPhone App with weekly updates. I also read this natural book and use the Ovia pregnancy app.

Stretch mark oil:  Erbaviva organic stretch mark oil

Stroller: We got the Doona (car seat and stroller) and the Joolz Geo 2.

Registry and baby buys: Most items are linked at the end of this blog post.

Nursery photos: Here!

Prenatal Vitamin: Vitafol gummies

Caffeine: I have one coffee in the A.M. My OB said up to 200 mg of caffeine per day is fine.

Food Changes: My diet has not really changed from what I was eating before I got pregnant, I just eat bigger portions. I try to eat as healthy as possible for her. A typical day is usually oatmeal with peanut butter and fruit for breakfast, a smoothie or salad for lunch, edamame and fruit or a bar for a snack, brown rice pasta or salmon with roasted vegetables for dinner and dark chocolate for dessert. Plus tons of water!!

Cravings: My biggest craving has been orange juice with tons of pebble ice!!

Birth Plan: I would really prefer to have a vaginal birth, but we don’t really have a birth plan… just praying for a healthy baby!

Feelings: Excited, calm and ready! πŸ™‚
